******************************************************************************** The Kernow Steiner Project’s Kindergarten for children aged 3½ to 7 is now in its second year and is welcoming new children. We have a wonderful kindergarten teacher from the Netherlands who is experienced, pioneering and Steiner-trained. We aim to run full sessions without parental presence onsite being necessary, subject to a successful OFSTED registration. Our vision is for this to grow into a Steiner Waldorf school for North Cornwall with an initial Lower School class already in the early stages of planning.
Inny Valley Kindergarten is in the old ‘tearoom’ at Basill Manor, St Clether (near Launceston). For the future, as we grow, we will also have the Weavery upstairs, allowing for more children to come and enjoy the kindergarten experience here. Inny Valley Kindergarten is on the edge of Bodmin Moor within easy reach of the A30 allowing good access from Bodmin and Launceston and surrounding communities. Basill Manor is steeped in history and we are fortunate to have secured premises in such a beautiful location. It’s origins are medieval and the surrounding land has been farmed using bio-dynamic principles since the 1970′s, adding to the magical atmosphere.
